Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn (born in America) is an American actor. Her most well-known role was as Skyler in the drama series of AMC, Breaking Bad. She won the Primetime Emmy Awards to recognize Outstanding Leading Performance by a Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for 2013 and 2014. Her other appearances are Jean Ward in The Practice and Martha Bullock from Deadwood. Anna Gunn began acting as an elementary school student in Sante Fe New Mexico. After that, her family relocated to Ohio and she continued her passion for the stage. Her studies in theatre was in the theatre department at Northwestern University. A semester was completed in the British American Drama Academy. Anna had a brief stint performing in Chicago theater before transitioning to film and TV roles. Anna had her biggest break in 1992 when she appeared as Arden for 29 episodes of Down the Shore. After guest appearances as a on several TV shows and films, such as Seinfeld and NYPD Blue in the 1990's She was then given the role of Jean Ward as part of The Practice. Martha Bullock was her role in Deadwood for two seasons. In 2008 she was cast as Skyler on Breaking Bad. Sully was one of her characters. Gunn also starred in David Schwimmer directed film Sex With Strangers. Gunn acted as Numbered Days, which is a four-part audio series that was released set in 2022. The love story between Walter White and his wife Skyler is often the backbone of the narrative on Breaking Bad with the strained tension in their relationship, and eventually its demise mirroring the same arc of Walter White's final days of his life.
