Anoushka Shankar

Anoushka Shankar, an Indian-born British American singer and musician, is most well-known for her songs. She was the first woman of her generation to receive the British House of Commons Staff. Anoushka Shankar is an emerging star on the Indian sitar. She's the daughter of Ravi Shankar and a former student. She was a child who bounded back and forth from London to New Delhi. Her first performance took place in New Delhi when she was just 13 years old. At the age of 13, she finished her high school studies within Encinitas CA. Anouskha still has a promising music and acting career, even though she's young. She is often seen performing with her dad and has been doing so for many years. She released her debut self-titled album Anourag in 1998. The Grammy Award-winning Live at Carnegie Hall was released two years following her debut solo album. Because she has performed on every major stage in across the globe, she's stage career has been extensive. Anoushka isn't only a singer. Bapi: The of My Life of My Live is her 2002 book, which is a tribute to Ravi Shankar. In 2003, she was the role of a Bharat Nathyam young dancer Dance Like a Man. Anoushka Shankar is currently a rising celebrity and her popularity will continue to grow. Anoushka shankar is an English native who lived her early days between London, Delhi and California. In Delhi at his 75thbirthday celebration Anoushka first made an appearance as a sitar player in front of the audience at the age of four, following her nine year old father. Accompanying her father as he toured the world Anoushka racked up a wealth of experiences appearing in Carnegie Hall while still in her teens. She performed at Peter Gabriel's WOMAD festival and making recordings with George Harrison. Her artistry and musicianship was recognized by British Parliament as being among the top of the best in Asian Arts.
